Terms of Service

1. Parties & acceptance

Privora is a product of CYBOT-X Technologies Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, starting a trial, or paying for a subscription, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any organisation you represent. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data under India’s DPDP Act.

2. Licence — not ownership

We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access Privora for your internal privacy and compliance operations only. You get no ownership of software, models, playbooks, connectors, documentation, trademarks, or any other Company IP. Reverse engineering, scraping, benchmarking for competitive purposes, resale, or white-labelling without a written partner agreement is forbidden.

3. Not legal advice

Privora provides software tooling, templates, scores, and AI-assisted guidance to help you organise compliance work. Nothing in the product or on this site is legal advice, a guarantee of compliance with the DPDP Act or any other law, or a substitute for qualified counsel. You remain solely responsible for your organisation’s legal obligations and audit outcomes.

4. Trials

Trials last fourteen (14) calendar days unless we state otherwise in writing or on the pricing page. Trials are provided “as is” with no SLA, no uptime commitment, and no warranty. When the trial ends, access locks until you activate a paid plan through our billing flow. Unused trial time has no cash value. List prices are published at /pricing.

5. Subscriptions & seats

You subscribe to a plan first. Included seats ship with that plan. Extra seats are purchased later from Billing after the plan is active. Fees are due in advance. We may change list prices prospectively; your then-current period is unaffected until renewal unless your order form says otherwise.

6. Payments

India checkout is processed primarily by Cashfree Payments (Razorpay when enabled). Card, UPI, netbanking, and other methods the gateway enables are subject to the gateway’s terms and bank rules. Failed, disputed, or reversed payments may immediately suspend or terminate access. You authorise us to retry failed charges and to invoice applicable taxes (including GST). See the Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You must not attack the platform, probe other tenants, upload malware for distribution, violate export or sanctions law, or use Privora for unlawful surveillance. We may suspend or terminate without refund for abuse, non-payment, or legal risk. See also Acceptable Use.

8. Your data & our rights

You retain rights in your customer content. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that content solely to run the service. We may use de-identified, aggregated telemetry to operate, secure, and improve Privora. Feedback you submit may be used freely without obligation to you. Processor terms for personal data you upload are described in our DPA where applicable.

9. Warranties & liability

Except where Indian law forbids limitation, Privora is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness, or non-infringement. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to fees you paid us for the three (3) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for third-party outages (including Cashfree, cloud, or email providers).

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify the Company against claims arising from your content, your misuse of Privora, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra (or such other venue we designate in an order form) have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
